| Here are a few comments on each of the songs Jim composed, so that his listeners can have an idea of what inspirations went into each composition.
Track 1. Nederland For Jim, the Netherlands is one of the most beautiful countries in the world. He loves Amsterdam, and Rotterdam. The Dutch people are so wonderful. He dedicated this song to all the beautiful Dutch people.
Track 2. Euro Train This is Jim's musical interpretation of riding the European trains.
Track 3. Red Square in Moscow One of the things that Russians are known for is their wonderful music. This is Jim's musical version of people walking around Red Square in Moscow.
Track 4. Oslo, Norway Norway is a beautiful country. There are many wonderful cities to see. Oslo, is one that stands out as one of the most scenic cities in Norway.
Track 5. Munich at Night Being of German decent, Jim loves to write original German music. Jim's family came to the United States from a small town called Furstenberg, located just a little south of Munich.
Track 6. Estonia Jim really likes to listen to music from Estonia. This is a song that he wrote about the photographs he saw of the country.
Track 7. Flowers for Poland Jim wrote this song for the people of Poland when they lost their dear President and his wife in a horrible plane crash. The Polish people are a very strong people, and this song was an effort to show their strength in times of tragedy.
Track 8. Athens, Greece Jim has always loved the Greek people and their way of life. Jim wrote this song from his
remembrance of being in Athens.
Track 9. Golden Ring of Russia As mentioned before, the wonderful Russian people are known for their love of great music. Jim wrote this song for the people there who love, care, and bleed just like you and me.
Track 10. Slovenia This small country has a music style of their own. It's really wonderful, and so are their people. Jim wrote this song for them.
Track 11. Waltz of Romania Jim has been in many countries in Europe. Romania is one of the countries that he loved best. He wrote this waltz in
remembrance of their country.
Track 12. Distant Voices This is Jim's cover song for Distant Voices. Jim says it helps him travel in his mind and heart back to Europe when he plays it.
