Track 1. Strom Waltz
This is a harpsichord song I wrote for friends of our family, David and Marilee Strom. They own the beautiful Hallmark store in downtown Windom, Minnesota.

Track 2. Night Time
A piano solo I wrote to express what the night time drawing near sounds like to me.

Track 3. Sweet Silence
A nylon guitar solo I wrote to show musically what silence feels like inside of me.

Track 4. Goetzinger Waltz
This is the original strings version of a ballroom dancer waltz that I wrote for a friend of mine, Tom Goetzinger, and his family. Tom, and his family live in New Prague, Minnesota. Tom is a professional radio announcer, and he also owns and operates TRG Productions.
Tom specializes in providing live DJ music for wedding receptions, as well as other special events.

Track 5. There Were Times
This is a harpsichord song that I originally titled "There Were Times In My Life When I Thought Love Had Found Me," but that title was too long. So, I decided to shorten the name to, "There Were Times." For me personally, this is a ballad love song for everyone that's experienced different loves in their lives. Then, when the right person comes along, you'll be able to feel the lyrics that say, "There Were Times in my life when I thought love had found me, but it wasn't until I met you that I found a love so true."

Track 6. Czech Folk Dance
This is one of two songs that I wrote for the wonderful folks of the Czech Republic. I was asked to write a folk dance for them, and this is what I came up with.

Track 7. Veronica's Victorian Waltz
This is the original strings version of a ballroom dancer waltz that I wrote for my better half, Veronica. She absolutely loves anything, and everything Victorian, so I did some music research on the types of waltzes they composed back in those years, and came up with this composition.

Track 8. All I Need Is You
In this life, when it really comes down to it, all we really have are the loved ones in our lives. This is a piano solo I wrote for my family: My wife Veronica, our sons, Jimmy, Jason, Jesse, John, James, and our daughter Laurie.

Track 9. Within These Stone Walls
This is another harpsichord song that I originally titled too long, so I again shortened it. The lyrics to this song go something like this: "Within these stone walls, the love that abides within can not be taken away."

Track 10. It Was Long Ago
This is another nylon guitar solo I wrote to express the memories deep within me of first meeting my loving wife Veronica. I sincerely hope it reminds you also, of the love in your life.

Track 11. Karlstejn Castle
This is the title song of this CD. This is also the second of two songs that I wrote for the Government of the Czech Republic honoring not only their wonderful people and heritage, but their beautiful Karlstejn Castle located near the City of Prague as well. This composition, is my musical expression of what it would feel like to be exiting the castle after a night filled with fun and dancing with the King and Queen.
