About Us
Jim Austerman is an accomplished keyboard, piano, accordion, and concertina player. With his electronic keyboards, he is a one-man-band. Jim composes several genres of instrumental music which include polka, waltz, easy listening, European & Russian styles, Polyphon, and music box melodies. Originally from California, Jim has been a resident of Minnesota for the past 24 years.

Jim studied under Myron Floren, of the Lawrence Welk Show, and Larry Malmberg, the original accordionist for the Whoopie John Band. With his unique style and sound, Jim has redefined the polka. Jim performs at several fairs, festivals and other events. He currently has four CDs available.

Jim is a member of ASCAP as a composer and songwriter and has been featured in Music & Dance News as well as Cottonwood County Citizen. Jim's music is aired on many radio stations across the United States.

Veronica, Jim's wife, is the owner of Sandcastle Music Box, an ASCAP affiliated record producer and publisher. She records and produces all of Jim's music. She also manages all the bookings for his live performances.
